Team
What I do
As CEO of a growing technology solutions company I wear a lot of hats but the majority of my time is split between several critical roles. The first is promoting our services and evolving our strategic plan as we gain experience. The second is overseeing our execution by managing my team leaders. I constantly seek feedback from Clients, Employees and Partners as to how we can improve on delivering value. The rest of the day (and evenings) I do all the little things that I haven’t yet hired someone else to do.
Why I do it
I simply love the challenges, the people, and the rewards! I have been building and marketing technology-based applications and services since 1984 and am grateful for the ever-evolving, intellectually stimulating, ground-breaking opportunities our industry provides.
My driving force
I was introduced to computers while doing my Graduate work at WSU in 1982 – they fascinated me. I was introduced to the Internet in 1990 – and was intrigued by the possibilities. I signed my first customer for my first business application that used the Internet in 1994 – and I was hooked! Since then I have authored multiple applications leveraging new technology, but the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning being applied to today’s rapidly expanding data sources has endless possibilities – and so the adventure continues with LeadScorz…
When I’m not working
I enjoy reading, cooking, playing golf, skiing the Cascades and spending time with family & friends. I serve on advisory boards for my alma mater (WSU Carson College of Business), and mentor student teams for its annual Business Plan Competition. In the Spring, I volunteer as a Little League Umpire and Umpire Trainer, which is the most fun of all.
What I do
I’m a developer at heart. My role at LeadScorz is to craft our platform to the User Interface. I also design and implement tools that allow our users to explore and use big data sets to build the best predictive models.
Why I do it
I love mathematics and coding so working at LeadScorz is the perfect match. My roll allows me to explore all the new developments in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning fields, in order to improve our product. I have been with LeadScorz since its inception, so improving it and seeing the product evolution makes me proud.
My driving force
My first time in front of a computer was in 1988, when I was only 4 years old. I’ve been tinkering with computers ever since. All my professional life I’ve been involved in designing and developing web applications, where I prefer to use modern techniques and tools. The constant changes with the Internet and introduction of new devices is what motivates me to improve and learn.
When I’m not working
I really like to share my free time with my family and friends. I like free diving and fishing and I’m now learning how to play golf, something that I’m really enjoying. I’m also a musician and I’ve been playing the saxophone for two decades now.
What I do:
I act as liaison for our clients and work with them on all new installs and special projects, help guide projects internally, wrangle data into insightful visualizations and presentations, and stay updated on all our sales and marketing initiatives.
Why I do it:
I love seeing it all come together. I’ve always had a client-first attitude and want to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible, so I focus on open communication, organization, transparency and making sure deliverables are delivered when we said they’d be. If there’s a question, I’ll answer it or find the person who can. Coordinating all the moving parts of a highly technical operation is challenging but rewarding, and I want our clients to benefit from our efforts in offering a superior product as well as setting it up.
My driving force:
My driving force is always learning new things. Life stops being interesting when you aren’t taking in new information and making new connections. You never know where an idea or a realization can come from, so it’s important to stay open to input and feedback, especially from places you might not expect.
When I’m not working:
I’m checking my call schedule, working on something in my garage, swimming and hiking with my kids, painting, or trying to sneak in a nap.
What I do
As Director of Channel Sales, I’m responsible for identifying new customers and strategic channel partners. This includes providing our innovative SaaS service to deliver customized scoring models and custom marketing audience data to drive media spend optimization and increased ROI. For channel partners, I identify where our SaaS solutions will compliment and enhance their product solutions for their existing clients.
Why I do it
I believe personal relationships are key to any successful business. I love meeting new people and enjoy listening to them to clearly understand what it is they truly need. I enjoy taking a wholistic view of an organization and building integrated solutions to meet their specific business objectives.
My driving force
Technology and continual learning. I love doing my best to stay current with the fast pace of technological change. I’ve been involved in this field for 20 years and I enjoy playing “consultant” to help clients put the right technology into action to enhance people’s experiences.
When I’m not working
I enjoy seasonal outdoor activities. In the summer you will find me wake surfing on the Columbia river or golfing with friends and family. In the winter, I will be hiking or skiing throughout the northwest. And at home, I like to cook, grill and enjoy good wine. I also serve as a member of the Entrepreneurship Advisory Board and a WSU Foundation Trustee Emeriti for my alma mater, Washington State University.
